the ferrari is known as a luxury car but these two cars are racing technology. The materials that make these cars fast and light take alot of time and research to make and that is the reason their so expensive. These are not luxury cars,their racing machines! Lets take a F1 Race car, they are made of carbon fiber and thats what the enzo and mclaren are made of, carbon fiber is a wwoven material, it feels like a blanket before they mold it and add resins, then they stick them in a oven with a vacum to have a finished piece,these cars have alot of pices of the shell(the outside of the body(doors,trunk, quaterpanels,hood) where a regular car they are usually made of metal(less time to make. Alot of engineers sit and calculate how to make these parts and the materials they use are always hard to obtain( they have to bring them from other countries)
