I'm a fan of Alicia Keys because she has inspired me in so many ways. Being born in the same year as Alicia, I can really relate to her lyrics about relationships and love. She has inspired me to be strong and confident in love and that I deserve respect in a relationship otherwise if I'm not being respected I should end the relationship! Alicia also has inspired me to keep trying to achieve my goals and to not give up even in tough times. Today, I am a high school teacher and give credit to Alicia's example of perseverance that pushed me to believe I could overcome difficult obstacles in life. I hope one day to be able to thank her in person for the gift of hope she gave me!
