your acapella rendition of "New York" has really touched the hearts of many first responders, firefighters, and paramedics. I'm an out of state paramedic, however, you captured the feeling that many who precepted me. Not a lot of people understand what the city and it's outskirts are about. you captured this in your acapella version of the song. the feeling of the song really gives the city and it's outskirts something real. the borrows are something untouched. A dream is a dream. I only had the pleasure/hard learning of working with these wonderful people trying so hard to make it. Your acapella version really sums it up. There are so many still trying to make it here. At the same time, i experienced really terrifying and dishardening situations. However, I met the most amazing people, just trying to make it in the USA. Your song has summed it up for me since zi've come home to MA. I still to this day wish I could work there. If I didn't have a family, I would. I listen to you quite a bit on the i-pod. and I remember the most amazing medics with FDNY that precepted me. I'll never forget my time there. Thank you so much.
