This is just my take on loneliness. I think it's part of the human condition and our emotions just like happiness or sadness. It's how we all feel from time to time. Like other emotions, I don't think it can always be helped. Just like you can't always help who you love, you can't always fill your lonely voids either. You could be in a crowded room and still feel alone inside. Why this occurs...the reason is probably different for everyone. But, it could simply boil down to the fact that you're not really "feeling" the people around you.Leer más

Why I'm a Fan

I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...I love Alicia's music and would like to not only meet her some day but work with her! Of course, I would mainly be the pupil and she'd be the teacher if that could ever happen...lol...as I am no match for her musically. Her music has been a great inspiration for me over the past 10 years or so. I am so glad that she came on the scene and stayed because music is in a critical period right now. There's a definite threat to the soulful nature of R&B and Alicia knows how to be just contemporary enough without losing her soulful edge. I am so grateful for her representation of what real music should be and I will love her music always. There's so many reasons why I am a fan, but I can't capture them all in mere words.
