I'm a fan (and you should be too) because..Ever since 2001, I have been listening to Alicia and I can still recall when Clive Davis was in complete awe of her, didn't even have second thoughts, and just gave Alicia a standing ovation right there while she was playing the infamous baby grande! Later that year, the video from Alicia's 'Fallin' came out on MTV. Her first CD was like a wild fire spreading all over the country and eventually splattered onto the rest of the world like hot lava! My 13-year-old was an instant fan and could not stop singing that particular song; we were both hooked and for Christmas that year, yup! you got it! I bought her first CD! And me being protective I wanted to listen when she wasn't around because she would sing every song, and my curious mind wanted to hear EVERY lyric! I tend to dig into whatever interests me and also because I am a choir member, so you know we nit-pick at each beat *8 count*! After embracing every instrument, the soulful sultry vocals, your rhythmic tempo, and ooooh that bass! I just love it! Anyway, that's when I started to learn more about you and couldn't believe that you had the same background as my daughter. Sooo, why am I a fan? Alicia also contributes to community charities, is always there when people need assistance, and has an enormous heart beaming, beaconing, gleaming full of gold.......Patti
