Breakdown’s Profile

I remember watching MTV in 2001 with my cousin...they played the Fallin' video and ,though I was just 10 years old back then, I was overwhelmed by this voice. Alicia Keys has an awesome voice and she has the power to catch you with every single song. You can relate to her songs and it is a pleasure to listen to her.
When in 2003 You Don't Know My Name (my fave Alicia song!) was released she eventually got my whole heart and since 2003 I am a real hardcore fan...YDKMN was the song I listened to the most in 2003 and remains till today my most favorite song of hers.
In 2005 her MTV Unplugged album was released which contains again one of my favorite songs "Unbreakable"...I love her voice, the lyrics and of course the video which is in my opionion one of her bests.
In 2007 she managed to get my heart with "No One" again. I fell in love with this song immediately and after listening to it once on the radio it stuck in my head...amazing. When I bought the album the week it was released here in Germany, I discovered her amazing song "Sure Looks Good To Me" which presents her unbelievable talent and her extraordinary voice.
"Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart" now managed to become one of my most favorite songs too and one of her songs I've most listened to. "Like The Sea" and "Distance and Time" did the same, as well as Doesn't Mean Anything" of course.
