I live Alica Keys!!, I do however feel the show was disoragainzed, it took too long to get things inorder and it made the crowd restless.. The music was too loud, u weren't able to here her casue the music over powered her beautiful voice...
The concert was amazing!!! I had the chance to go to the meet and greet. Alicia is so beautiful! She was just so regular with her nike basketball kicks, a turqoise lightweight sweater and some jeans. Her hair was all natural and curly, her makeup real nice. We had to wait for 2 HOURS and my feet were killing me!! She got stuck in traffic, but it was cool cuz its Atlantic City and thats just part of the game! There were 2 other groups in the waiting room with us. They got to take pics with her but we actually got to sit down and chill with her for a little while. She took pictures with us 3 at a time and signed something for everybody. I had my scrapbook with me and she signed it. I'm still wishing I would have brought her the necklace I made for her but I didnt want to be all cheesy, but other people brought her gifts, so if you have one, bring it anyway!! I cant say enough about the night, did I say the concert was just amazing? Every concert gets better and better. The stage was crazy and she worked it! It was the perfect display of her career.... i wont tell you and ruin the show, but anyone who goes will not be disappointed. i woke up this morning wishing i could do it all over again... what a night!
This was actually my present for my 15th Birthday (Feb. 22)and.....I'm still up now thinking about how awesome this concert was. This was my first and I could go on and on about it. But I will say: Ms. Alicia Keys is one of the most talented musicans, songwriter, actress and recordng artist. She had my undivided attention the whole time adn the band and background singers were awesome! Now i'm going to rely on my ears but when she performed Diary i think Jermaine Paul was on the record as well as in the concert. Either he, the duet was amazing! I loved the effects, outfits (those shoes were bad!! lol). I don't know the technical term for it but I LOVED when Ms. Keys broke out in a solo on the 'sideways piano/guitar thing' (idk what it is) and it was in the shape of a key! My aunt was screaming "PLAY THAT THING GIRL!!!" . I was singing along the whole time and I kept thinking about the concert the way back to the hotel. I just felt like I got to know Ms. Alicia Keys personally and missed her when i left. I really have a passion for music and as an aspiring musician, this really meant a lot to me. More than my parents imagined. I couldn't wait for them to bring out teh grand piano for her to play and laughed when it displayed PLAY ME. and i really screamed when Ms. Alicia Keys asked, "Do you think I should play this?" oh you should have heard the crowd! Im glad the show started on time and opening acts were awesome as well! (Melanie Fiona and Jermaine Paul). I loved all of the sings that she performed. I hope she reads this to know how much this affected me. I have hope and I will keep dreaming that maybe I'll be on stage with her playing an instrument (my voice isn't strong enough and my range is terrible!)like bass guitar or drums or something! I just wanted to say thank you for the show and I really really really want to see you again someday hopefully soon! i would ave gone on the 24th and gotten VIP tickets but i have school well this is my review for the concert and i say..... 5 STARS FOR THE LADY OF SOUL!
imma be in section 105 row 17, seat 15......im am praying that they allow me to receive these Meet and Greets to see Akeys in AC. I would be sooo beyond happy...this would mean so much to me.
The feeling of not being able to get these tickets and see the concert makes me so sad...like i almost want to cry...ugh...this would be the best spring break ever if i got to go to this concert...All i can do is dream for now.
Cant wait to be there, Alicia I love ur music it touches me and this new album is amazing...the best part is the instrumentals on all the songs...the music is sick!!!
I would love to win tickets to see Ms. Alicia keys on March 20th 2010. This will honestly be my FIRST concert ever of my 26 years of living. I would be grateful and honor to make Ms. Alicia Keys my FIRST concert experience. I am good mother to my three year old son a hard and dedicated working wife to my husband. I currently go to school Monday- Friday at Bucks County Community College for my Licensed Practical Nurse Degree. This is a fast paced program that instead of being a two years program it is crammed into one year. Also I work on the weekends taking care of an 87 year old who has dementia at her home who I have grown to love as if she was my own grandmother. If being a good mother who is planning on continuing with my nursing education to better my son life and being a hard, dedicated and loving wife to my supportive husband i'snt a good reason for me to get a chance to win tickets then i will also input it will be a great birthday present since it is the following week. Sincerely Yours, Keisha Mosoule
I LOVED Alicia's "As I AM" tour and I cannot wait for the new "The Element of Freedom Tour." Once I saw Alicia Keys in concert I was hooked. She's is an AMAZING performer(and I frequent concerts...she's the real DEAL)!!! She made an arena turn into an intimate setting. I recommend and promote her seeing her in concert because it is a once in a lifetime experience. It's FUN, EXCITING, AND INSPIRING.I love ALICIA and I will be a fan for life. Keep representing for the Mixed Gals with love.
I've been a fan for a long time. You have such a beautiful talent and I'm happy that you share your instrumental and vocal skills with the world. I am also very impressed with your humanitaian efforts. My seven year old nephew met you back in DC last year when you were at the White House/Capitol- he loves you to death. It would be an honor and pleasure to meet you and see you in concert.
I AM THE BIGGEST ALICIA KEYS FAN EVER!!!...i would love to get tickets...but money is tight....I'm sure my friends get tired of me talking about a.keys but she's jus so amazing...i appreciate all of her music and everything she does to help her keep a child alive program...she's just beautiful!! i admire her so much...i've been a fan since she came out i was 10 i believe and now i'm almost 20 in June...ugghhh I wish i could really go to this concert...or anywhere thats close to New Jersey! or what would be better would be going to africa to help out those people who need help. i love helping as much as i can...right now i can only dream about meeting alicia....She's amazing!
My 14th Birthday is on March 5th. I would love to attend your show for my Birthday. This is the only wish I have. My mother is a Single Parent and just recently was accepted to Graduate School. She has taken on a part-time job just to purchase tickets for me to attend your show in Atlantic City on March 20th. Her Birthday is on March 21st as well. I know that she has us covered for the tickets but is there any way possible that I can get some backstage passes to personally meet you? You are my American IDOL. I performed in the 2008 Teen Idol in North Carolina and I sung "NO ONE" and needless to say that I won!!!!!! It would be an honor to meet you. I am so overjoyed that my mother is making such a big commitment to make one of my dreams come true. Hope to hear from your staff soon.
That concert was REALLY REALLY REALLY awesome because I STILL can't stop thinking about it.Everything about the concert was beautiful and so was Ms. Keys Ms. Alicia Keys is my favorite artist and will forever be. I'm going to wear my Element of Freedom tour shirt today at school! Thanks Ms. Keys for inspiring me so! A lot of people might ask me about it in band today (I play alto sax 1st chair in concert band). But that will be the best concert I go to ever! I thanked my dad a lot too!
