I was around 7 when I first heard "Fallin" on the radio. I knew I liked it and wanted to hear more. It wasn't until I would listen to my older sis sing TDOAK when I really began to get into Alicia's music. Finally, when Unplugged released, I was hooked. The live performances showed me what I missed out on, so I worked backwards to SIAM, and I love it. "Troubles" really touches me in a way no song has ever done before, and I'm thankful it was an artist like Alicia to do so. She has impacted my life so much and once As I Am and TEOF released, I became a much stronger supporter of anything that Alicia does. She's a real blessing to this world. Love you Alicia!

I recall my first time hearing you Alicia, I fell in love! Your emotions broke thru the song, they spoke LOUD to my heart, my beliefs. I still pause when I hear the slightset piece of songs like "Lesson Learned", " Butterflies", and "Diary".
My apprecation for your talent has NEVER wavered or been 'interrupted' by another music sensation. i have seen "RnB chicks" come and go, but you, Alicia, are NOT a phase, fad, or new groove. You art has been long established in my various music libraries; my own poetry brings YOU to mind!
I listen to certain songs everyday, for inspriation; some as a reminder of what LIFE is, where it's taking me now. I have few weapons in this world against hurt, pain, dishonesty. But as long as I've got my Sheild (New*International*Version) and some good-working headphones, thers nothing His love and her words wont help me conquer!

I will never forget the day I heard falling back in 2001 when I was 10. I rushed to the library and printed the lyrics and went straight to work. Within 3 days I knew it better than my school work. Till this day I will be a mega fan. Gongrats Alicia, Love your fans.

Hi Alicia I love your concert in Detroit 3-6-10.It was off the chains my first seeing you in concert .You made so happy & love .I bought the tour book,tee skirt i love it too. You song my favorite song like the sea. Peace Out Babyckes

I was hoping you can sing Happy Birthday to my partner Gonzo on March 17th (madison Square Garden) My Baby just adores you and I made this happen especially for her although I was unemployed at the Time, But if you knew how hard 2009 was for my partner you would of done the same thing... It's good to hear Alicia say,She did'nt no it all.Such honesty.But she still had and have the drive to go forward.To make her own path,That's why she is a TrailBlazer.She set her goals and achieve them.And the reward is,All of us loving the whole thing.We can Witness it All and say,I Love What she had to offer.BeeStrong.
