I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... Alicia creates some of the most beautiful music on the planet and is a raw, natural talent who touches my soul every time she sings. Literally from the first note I hear I have shivers running down my spine for most of the song .. and nearly all her songs do this to me. No other artist apart from, maybe, Bob Marley has ever done that for me. Her lyrics reach deep into my heart and I've even shed a tear on a couple of occasions (even though men don't cry, right? ) because she feels what she's doing so much and it completely takes me over. It's like her whole being becomes the music and she shines so bright like a guiding star. The brightest star in a galaxy of mediocrity! I hope that's not too over the top but it's what I feel. Her music saw me through some dark times in my life and gave me the strength to carry on. Her positivity and drive are something to aspire to. If I didn't know better I'd say I was infatuated! Alicia you are one in a million. Thank you for your gift to the world ... oh yeah, and I love your accent!
